Ventnor woman who drowned in sea took her own life | Isle of Wight County Press
Jennifer Zoe Key, of Downside, was pronounced dead on August 18, 2019. An inquest at the Isle of Wight Coroner’s Court heard the 69-year-old had been found in the sea. A statement from Mrs Key's GP painted the picture of someone with a number of mental health issues, anxiety and depression. She had long been suffering from pain in her sinuses and ears, and had overdosed on medication on four previous occasions. Her GP said she had intrusive thoughts of walking into the sea.
