Police Foot Chase Prompts Security Alert at Elementary School
The incident started around 7:30 a.m. in the Barcroft neighborhood, amid reports of a domestic dispute. “At approximately 7:33 a.m. on April 6, police were dispatched to the 900 block of S. Buchanan Street for the report of a dispute between known individuals,” Arlington County Police Department spokeswoman Ashley Savage tells ARLnow. “During the course of the investigation, it was determined that one of the involved subjects was wanted by another jurisdiction.” Police patrolling the area later located the man in the Green Valley neighborhood, where he led officers on a chase that end...
