Swift Current’s first no appointment necessary COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be offered starting at 8:30 a.m. on Friday for individuals 55 years of age and older.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is scheduling five vaccination clinics in Swift Current on a first come, first served basis from Friday, April 2 to Tuesday, April 6.
Swift Current’s inaugural Walk-In Clinic will be hosted on Friday, April 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at #6 – 1061 Central Ave. N.
A pair of Drive-Thru Clinics will follow at 801 Cheadle St. W. on Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The final two no appointment necessary clinics currently planned will be Walk-In Clinics held again from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 6 at #6 – 1061 Central Ave. N.

County health officials have announced the online registration system for First Dose COVID-19 Vaccine Drive Thru Clinics will open up again on the morning of Monday, March 1.
This registration will be for a clinic to be held on Friday, March 5. Those eligible to participate are those in Phase 1B, which include all Henry and Stark County residents age 65 and over, and remaining healthcare (1A) and frontline essential workers (1B).  
At this time, due to shipment delays and the number of the present 1B group members (65 years and older) that are still unvaccinated; these clinics will not be opening registration to those under 65 years with co-morbidities.  The State of Illinois is leaving this guidance to the local county’s discretion.

DENVER — While Colorado gears up for additional vaccine doses, providers are preparing for how they'll efficiently distribute additional amounts from freezers into people's arms.
On Tuesday, Gov. Jared Polis announced that after a call with the White House, he learned Colorado would receive roughly 9,000 additional doses per week.
National Jewish Health said while they don't know how much additional supply they'll receive over the next month as the state gets its additional doses, but they feel prepared.
