Majority of the schools in Delhi-NCR today declared a holiday after sending kids back home after receiving a bomb threat.
While the whole list of schools has not yet been made public, some names have been revealed so far, as per various media reports.
Elhi's Lieutenant Governor, Vinai Kumar Saxena, has requested a detailed report from the police regarding bomb threats at several schools in the National Capital Region (NCR). He has directed the police to conduct a thorough search and identify the culprits. Saxena has also asked parents to cooperate with authorities and not panic. Over 50 schools in the NCR and Delhi have received bomb threats, with some schools evacuated and others being searched by Delhi Police.
