NASA has announced plans to launch three Black Brant IX sounding rockets as part of the APEP mission.
According to the new map of the eclipse path, Rome, New York, Effingham, Illinois, and Montreal's Cite Jardin Park will be just out of the zone. The zone of totality could also be slightly impacted by "uncertainty in the Earths rotation."
