Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi film Interstellar will be rereleased in theaters in honor of its 10th anniversary. The film, starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Matt Damon as a group of astronauts tasked with finding a new planet for humankind to colonize, grossed $731 million worldwide when it debuted in 2014. Interstellar will return to theaters in 70mm IMAX and on digital screens on September 27, 2024 ...Apple TV+ on Thursday dropped the trailer for its new sci-fi thriller Dark Matter. The nine-episode original series, based on the blockbuster book by New York Times bestselling author Blake Crouch, follows a physicist, professor and family man -- played by Joel Edgerton -- who's abducted into an alternate version of his life while walking home on the streets of Chicago, per the streaming service. That leads him on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from an unbeatable foe: himself. Dark Matter -- also starring Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly, as well as Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley -- debuts May 8 on Apple TV+ ...After bringing S.W.A.T. back for what was billed as its seventh and final season back in 2023, CBS has decided to renew the popular show for an eighth season. "Here at CBS, we always 'stay liquid' and love a good dramatic twist, especially when it leads to an eighth season of S.W.A.T.!” Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement on Thursday. Tyrone Lebon/Warner Records; Sabrina: Island/UMGDua Lipa has shared another track from her album Radical Optimism and makes a splash with a sexy video, as well.Dua's released "Illusion," the third track we've gotten to hear from the album, following "Houdini" and "Training Season." According to Dua, "Illusion" was the first song she and her main collaborators worked on together. "It really broke the ice for the record,” she says.“It’s about knowing what you’re getting yourself into, but staying for the hell of it. The joke’s on them, it’s the fun of playing someone at their own game because ultimately you won’t fall for an illusion.”Dua wrote on Instagram, "This song started everything for this album sonically ... it has just made me even more excited for Radical Optimism in 3 WEEKS ~ aaaaahhh it’s all bloody kicking off!!!"The music video really leans in to the aquatic theme of the album cover and the making-of video that Dua's shared. It was filmed at a famous Olympic pool complex in Barcelona with a panoramic view of the city, and features Dua and a troupe of dancers, scantily clad high divers and synchronized swimmers cavorting both in and out of the water.One of Dua's collaborators on the album is Australian musician Kevin Parker, who records as Tame Impala. Fun fact: Parker also co-wrote and co-produced an upbeat song for another pop superstar with the word "Illusion" in the title. Sheryl says she and Buffett met even before she was famous: He hired her to sing backup vocals on a project after her two-year stint on the road singing backing vocals for the King of Pop."I was blessed enough to get to spend some really good quality time with him," she tells ABC Audio. "Actually, it's interesting — he was my first recording session after I came home from the Michael Jackson tour, and I flew down because the band I used to sing with in St. Louis became [Buffett's] Coral Reefer [Band] — and that was in 1989."Sheryl says she loved Buffett because of the way he approached his career."He emulates exactly how I wish I could be, which is just so in the joyful moment of making music," she says. "Y'know, sometimes we get so in our analytical head and decide if something is good or bad, or if we've delivered ... and he was not that.""He was somebody who was there for the fans, and loved what he did and was just a great man."
