Hot on the heels of rival Globe Telecom, Philippines-based operator PLDT is reportedly considering a sale of 2,000 towers for US$300m according to sources speaking to Bloomberg.
PLDT was tipped to be negotiating the sale of more towers, continuing a run which resulted in a string of deals so far in 2022.
Globe Telecom offloaded 701 towers to Miescor Infrastructure Development, part of a run of infrastructure deals.
