Suspense hovers over JEE Main, NEET exams; Education Ministry to review situation
The suspense over engineering entrance exams JEE Mains and medical entrance exam NEET will end soon. The Ministry of Educaton will soon review the situation to decide on conducting the two remaining editions of the key exams, sources told news agency PTI.Â
"A review meeting is likely to be conducted soon to decide on schedule of the pending editions of JEE-Mains and whether NEET-UG can be conducted on August 1," a source said.
The development comes a dayÂ after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced cancellation of Class 12 board examinatons in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that the schedule for theÂ subsequent entrance examinations will be decided soon.
