(WO) — Dana Petroleum and NEO Energy have announced the signing of a sale and purchase agreement under which NEO Energy will acquire Dana’s full equity in the Western Isles FPSO.
The FPSO is currently deployed in the MJ field in the KG-D6 block, off the east coast of India. Raju Shete, founder of OCS Services, said, "We are honoured to be part of this prestigious project of national importance and to contribute our expertise in delivering high standards for safety and environmental protection. We look forward to our continued services to Reliance".
TMC’s marine compressed air system is designed specifically for offshore and marine use, and has been developed to allow the vessel crew to conduct equipment maintenance themselves.
The FPSO will be designed to produce 250,000 boed, will have associated gas treatment capacity of 540 MMcfd and water injection capacity of 300,000 bpd. The FPSO will be spread moored in water depth of about 1,630 m and will be able to store around 2 MMbbl of crude oil.
An open collaboration and digitalization initiative is working to optimize FPSO production throughput and ensure equipment uptime, while reducing carbon footprint at scale.
