7月1日，庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会在北京天安门广场隆重举行。习近平总书记发表重要讲话。在这个重大而庄严的日子，在这个特别重要的时间坐标上，习近平总书记多次提到伟大建党精神，他说：“这是中国共产党的精神之源。”伟大建党精神，他用32字作出概括：坚持真理、坚守理想，践行初心、担当使命，不怕牺牲、英勇斗争，对党忠诚、不负人民。
人无精神不立，国无精神不强。“精神是一个民族赖以长久生存的灵魂，唯有精神上达到一定的高度，这个民族才能在历史的洪流中屹立不倒、奋勇向前。”百年前，中国共产党成立，带着“中国人民谋幸福,为中华民族谋复兴”的初心使命，开启了“伟大创业”的艰苦历程，百年里，为了追求国家光明的未来，为了追求人民光明的日子，为了那个胜利的梦想，牺牲在这条复兴路上的人太多太多，留下了无数感人肺腑的故事，交出了永留青史的时代答卷，所有了的牺牲、奋斗，都汇聚成了一个“光明的故事”。历史照亮未来，征途未有穷期；奋斗，永不止步。我们要深刻领悟“32字”中蕴藏的精神，才能传承好、发扬好建党精神，征服新长征路上更多的“娄山关”“腊子口”，跨越新征程上的激流险滩，开好“顶风船”，创造更美好的明天。
伟大建党精神蕴藏冲破黑暗、走向光明的中国精神。光明，是政治定力，更是精神上的“火把”，能够让人在生死抉择的瞬间，始终保持从容、自信，能够始终把国家和人民的利益放在首位，在恐惧、害怕、担忧中，始终保持必胜的信念，只有锻造了这样的精神脊梁，才能勇敢地拨开黑暗，遇见光明。中国的百年，是饱经磨难的百年。“32字”中有惨烈的牺牲、有勇于斗争、有视死如归，有顽强拼搏、有……伟大的中国共产党人身上凝结的品质，蕴藏着冲破黑暗、走向光明的中国精神，百年筚路蓝缕的历程，留下了他们深深的足迹，也成为了穿越时空、历久弥新的精神财富，是我们走好新征程的不竭精神力量。
伟大建党精神凝聚创造奇迹、实现光明的中国力量。百年风霜雪雨，百年砥砺奋进。短短一百年，中国共产党带领中国人民站起来、富起来、强起来，创造了世所罕见的奇迹，成为拥有9500多万名党员的第一执政党，也实现了百年初的“光明梦想”。百年奇迹，归集起来就是时代三问：“中国共产党为什么能”“马克思主义为什么行”“中国特色社会主义为什么好”，是什么力量，让衰败凋零的中国，实现繁荣富强？是始终不变的为民初心，是始终不变的实现中华民族伟大复兴的梦想，才能让中国的力量紧紧团结在一起，一路风雨兼程。
伟大建党精神彰显不懈奋斗、书写光明的中国担当。“中国的昨天已经写在人类的史册上，中国的今天正在亿万人民手中创造，中国的明天必将更加美好。”伟大建党精神是我们取之不尽的精神之源，要继续赶考，尤其需要我们深悟伟大建党精神中的奋斗密码，要赓续红色血脉，激发奋斗基因，传承好党的优良传统和优良作风，才能把中国的担当融入到新时期具体的工作中去，在奋斗中书写更光明的前景。
