President Bola Tinubu has terminated the appointment of Bashir Gwandu as the vice-chairman and chief executive of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI. The Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced the development in a statement on Friday. The president appointed 32-year-old Khalil Suleiman Halilu as his replacement. He noted that by this appointment, Halilu will serve for an initial term of five years in accordance with the relevant sections of the NASENI Act, 2014.
