Speaking on the topic: “Reminiscing about My Work with Engineers and other Expectations”, the former MiDA boss said, in his 51-year working career, he could recall the very productive engagements with a number of specialised engineers, across disciplines such as environmental, marine, safety, geodetic, civil and structural, municipal and urban.
“All developmental projects are engineering, so we should not disappoint the next generation and generation unborn by building resilient infrastructure. It is no more necessary to blame anybody outside our continent for our predicaments. We have all it takes to develop Africa ourselves”, Engr. Mustafa Shehu added.
Explaining the week-long programme to the media, the Executive Director of GhIE, Ing. David Kwatia Nyante said, the AGM and Annual Conference is a week set aside annually to bring together all Professional Engineers, Technologists and Affiliates from diverse engineering backgrounds to share ideas and knowledge on the theme for the gathering.
