    The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said that incomes of Sub-Saharan Africa countries are falling further behind the rest of the world amid a “trepid” economic recovery.  The IMF which said this on Friday warned of risks from geopolitics, domestic instability and climate change.

BREAKING: Man Sets Himself On Fire Outside US Court During Ex-President, Donald Trump's Trial

      A man whose identity has not been ascertained on Friday set himself on fire outside of the Manhattan courthouse where former United States President Donald Trump is standing trial on criminal charges for falsifying business records.     It was gathered that the man was covered in flames outside of the courthouse on Friday afternoon.    The fourth day of the Trump trial was underway, with jury selection wrapping up.

BVAS Machines Only Meant For General Elections, Not Council Polls — INEC Tells Oyo Government

    Dr. Adeniran Tella, the Oyo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, stated on Friday that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines cannot be delivered to the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, for the local government elections on April 27.    Tella disclosed this in Ibadan while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the sidelines of the state's quarterly consultative meeting with civil society organisations.
