The UAE gets its first 100 per cent electric waste truck in the country's capital, Abu Dhabi; this is also the first fully electric heavy truck to be launched in the Middle East.
Renault Trucks Middle East and Al Masaood have collaborated with Abu Dhabi waste management firm Tadweer to launch the first fully-electric waste truck in UAE. A first for the region, Renault heavy truck will contribute to UAE’s Net Zero 2050 ambition.
The truck was manufactured by Renault Trucks, under the dealership of Al Masaood, following the signing of an MoU between Tadweer and Al Masaood during the EcoWaste Exhibition and Conference
