Despite recent rainfall that moved areas out of drought, water supplies in Central Texas lakes and rivers remain low.

With the state dealing with a winter freeze and multiple floods within the past five years, insurance companies have paid out for a lot of damage. The industry is sticking homeowners with the bill.

Summer is slowly creeping into Oklahoma. We've seen some really hot days recently, but with the upcoming forecast, it looks like cooler temperatures are headed our way, and of course, more rain.

All that has been in the Oklahoma forecast lately is rain, rain and more rain. Typically, Okies only hear about how bad the drought is. But it looks like more Oklahoma counties have seen more rain than average within the last year.

"We just had day after day after day of severe weather," the state climatologist said. "Everybody's nerves were on edge."
