More than 100 people spoke to members of the Palm Beach County School Board before the 4-3 vote in favor of cutting out the statement.

By Joel Malkin May 27, 2021 The Palm Beach County School Board is keeping its Equity Statement in place, but members voted 4-3 Wednesday evening to remove the line about "dismantling structures rooted in white advantage." The vote was taken after more than a hundred members of the public spoke during an hours-long meeting. "I see that you want to talk about skin color.
