The Delhi Police Railway unit and Railway Police Force (RPF) conducted security patrols and bag checks at New Delhi Railway Station ahead of the G20 Summit, which will be held in the national capital from September 9-10. The Delhi government has also issued a gazette notification imposing traffic restrictions, including banning certain vehicles from certain roads, during the summit. India assumed the G20 presidency in December 2020 and has organized numerous meetings across the country in preparation for the summit.

In view of the G20 Summit scheduled to be held in the national capital on September 9 and 10, the Delhi Police Railway unit along with the Railway Police Force (RPF) patrolled the New Delhi Railway Station on Tuesday.

The Delhi government has issued a gazette notification announcing traffic restrictions in the city during the upcoming G20 Summit. The notification states that certain roads will be closed to goods vehicles, commercial vehicles, interstate buses, and local city buses from September 7 to September 10. However, vehicles carrying essential commodities will be allowed to enter Delhi.
