COVID-19 Vaccines Available Thursday at North Tri-Ethnic Community Center

Up to 1,000 COVID-19 vaccines will be available at a pop-up vaccination clinic organized by the City of Fort Worth and MedStar, the city announced.
The one-day site will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the North Tri-Ethnic Community Center at 2950 Roosevelt Avenue in Fort Worth.

Walk-ups are available for on-site registration; however, residents are encouraged to pre-register to ensure they will get a vaccine, according to the city of Fort Worth. ....

Warming centers open to provide relief from the brutal cold in DFW

As Dallas-Fort Worth residents continue to grapple with power outages and brave brutally cold temperatures, many city buildings, churches, and nonprofits are opening their doors as warming shelters. Here is a running list of places where people can go to warm up, rest, and charge electronic devices. The list will be updated as more are announced.

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, at 650 S. Griffin St., is home to a warming center opened by the city of Dallas. It s located in Exhibit Hall A.
