Vasil was set to represent North Macedonia in 2020 with the song 'You' before the Contest was cancelled. Now, Macedonian Radio and Television (MKRTV) has delighted fans with the announcement of his return for Eurovision 2021.
Vasil’s Eurovision journey began in 2019 as a backing vocalist for Tamara Todevska in Tel Aviv. He soon made a big name for himself when in January last year, MRT (North Macedonia's public broadcaster) announced his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. His song,
You, was revealed later in early March.

Vision Music Awards 2020: Bulgaria's VICTORIA wins Best Interior Design

Eurovision wouldn’t be Eurovision without the gorgeous staging to match the music. It’s sad that the 41 fantastic songs of Eurovision 2020 didn’t get the justice of presentation on the big stage. It didn’t mean they didn’t get their moment in the spotlight, however, as they were all performed in the comfortable homes of the Eurovision stars. It’s not common that we get to see the places where our musicians live and work, and it is certainly worthy of merit. There’s nothing more special than the space a musician makes their magic happen!

Vision Music Awards 2020: Bulgaria's VICTORIA wins Best Quarantine Couture

While last year’s Eurovision season didn’t have the big stage and bright lights, it still had its usual fashion pageant. Maybe not the mixture of dazzling and disastrous we’re used to, but fashion nonetheless. There’s something extremely charming about seeing our Eurovision stars in their favourite home clothes.
To honour this year’s cosy parade, we asked you to vote for the act you thought showed off the
Best Quarantine Couture as part of our 2020
While our time in lockdown might have had less ballgowns and more dressing gowns, our Eurovision stars still sported some memorable looks. Gjon’s Tears showed off his set of collared shirts. Ulrikke brought the plaid and cowgirl vibe. Past Eurovision stars Slavko Kalezic and Maruv also sported memorable looks for their lockdown performances.

VMAs 2020: Bulgaria’s VICTORIA wins Best Home Concert
Securing first place is
VICTORIA. The Bulgarian star received 164 votes, which is 9.27% of the total. It’s fair to say that VICTORIA went beyond most to connect with fans in 2020. She took part in the fourth episode of Eurovision Home concerts, where she performed her Eurovision 2020 entry “Tears Getting Sober” and a cover of Duncan Laurence’s Eurovision 2019 winning song “Arcade”.
