Ev Battery Test: Startups are racing to develop tests for certifying the health and performance of used electric vehicle (EV) batteries, as buyers struggle to determine the value of secondhand EVs. Unlike traditional cars, the value of an EV depends largely on the battery's driving range and ability to hold a charge. Companies like Altelium and Aviloo have developed battery tests that can quickly determine battery health, facilitating used EV sales.
The EV company expects to use the proceeds to ramp up deliveries. Fisker earlier this month reiterated its plan to increase deliveries of its flagship Ocean sports utility vehicle to 300 units per day later this year.
The pre-Series A investment round for the premium electric motorcycle startup Raptee totaled $3 million, the company announced on Tuesday. The all-equity funding round led by deep-tech VC fund BlueHill Capital, also saw participation from industry stalwarts as well as HNIs, Raptee said in a statement.
