According to available figures, the WCD received 14,648 complaints in 2022-23 and of them, 564 and 384 were of stalking and eve-teasing respectively.
The girl resists and shouts but the boy does not listen to her.
A case has been registered in the matter and a probe is underway.
A police officer said the trio had been stalking the girl since 2018 and were pressuring her to accept the main suspect's proposal.
"Such offences need to be dealt with a heavy hand as a lesson needs to be meted out to such roadside romeos, in order to protect women from their uncalled for behaviour," the court observed.
