Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia while being produced in Rouse Avenue Court for extension of judicial remand in an Enforcement Directorate (ED) case related to the Excise scam told reporters that "Modi ji won't be able to stop the work of Kejriwal ji in Delhi".
Manish Sisodia lawyers had argued that his custody was no longer required for investigation.
The judge had reserved the order after hearing arguments on Sisodia’s plea seeking relief claiming that his custody was no longer required for investigation.
The Rouse Avenue Court on Friday dismissed the bail plea of Delhi's former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in a money laundering case related to the Excise scam stating that "this case of economic offences has serious repercussions upon the general public and society at large as the evidence collected during investigation speaks volumes of his involvement in the commission of the said offence".
A court in Delhi is likely to deliver on April 28 its order on the bail application of former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in a money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam.
