Councillors get a look at preliminary concept for Rec Centre renovations
Article content SOUTH HURON – Councillors got a look at design concepts for a proposed renovated South Huron Rec Centre (SHRC) at a committee of the whole meeting April 26. Unsuccessful in its bid for a federal-provincial grant to build a new $25-million facility in Exeter, South Huron council recently decided to pursue major renovations at the SHRC which would include six new dressing rooms, new dasher boards, officials and storage rooms, accessibility improvements, lighting and electrical upgrades, a new gym with dressing rooms and a moveable divider wall, a raised walking track and more....
