The Director of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH) has filed a complaint against Aether Industries Limited (AIL) under The Factories Act in connection with the blast and fire at its factory in Sachin GIDC. Nagpur, Dec 17 (PTI) Anxious relatives of the victims of a blast at an explosives manufacturing factory in Maharashtra's Nagpur district gathered outside the unit on Sunday to seek more information about their kin.
In a post on X, CMO Maharashtra said, "The Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed deep grief over the deaths in the explosion incident at a factory in Nagpur. Expressing condolences to the deceased and their families, the Chief Minister has also announced an aid of five lakh rupees to their kins of those who died in the incident." According to police, the explosion took place when workers were involved in manufacturing country crackers for local temple festivals. Fire tenders from Ariyalur and Perambalur districts rushed to the spot immediately and doused the fire after several hours.
