FAUG is finally getting an important update that will make it a bit closer to being a true PUBG Mobile alternative. As promised, nCore Games has confirmed the Deathmatch Mode will be rolled out soon to allow multiplayer battles in the game. The deathmatch playing strategy was introduced in PUBG Mobile back in 2019, giving a new way of playing in a highly-aggressive environment with time restrictions. It became to be the most popular multiplayer mode in the game, inspiring other similar games to adopt this. With the Deathmatch Mode, FAUG may increase its appeal to the users who have slammed the homegrown mobile game for being too simple.

While PUBG remains missing in action, home-grown nCore Games is leaving no stone unturned to create a dent in the battle royale genre with Fearless And United Guards a.k.a FAU-G. The developers have announced that they will soon introduce a multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode in FAU-G which has also been teased previously. 
nCore Games took to Twitter and announced that the game is set to receive a multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode which will allow players to form a squad as they will likely be dropped into the battle zone. The developers are yet to reveal more details about this particular mode. We can expect that with the new mode, the developers will also release new maps as teased in the released imaged.

FAU-G becomes top free game; records more than 5 million downloads on Google Play Store- Technology News, Firstpost


The announcement of the game was made initially by the Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar via his Twitter handle. The game was expected to launch in October 2020 but managed to make its way in January 2021. For now, the game is available only on the Android platform and there is no news for its availability on iOS.
The parent company nCore Games has stated that FAUG is said to get a 5v5 Team Deathmatch, Battle Royale, and more modes that will be added soon. No news on the update has been announced so far.
FAUG comes with a single-person campaign mode and is based on the feud between Indian and Chinese soldiers, based in Galwan Valley. Unlike its counterpart, the game does not get Battle Royale Game Mode.

FAU-G or Fearless And United – Guards has finally launched in India. The Bangalore-based developer, nCore Games, has launched the game on January 26, which is celebrated as the Republic Day of India. The day was chosen specifically as the game itself is based on the Indian Army. 
FAU-G has already set records in the pre-registration numbers. The game went on pre-registrations last month and received over 1 million registrations in the first 24 hours. As the launch date came closer, the number came close to around 5 million.
