New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) The Delhi government has decided to reimpose the ban on the manufacturing, sale, storage and use of all kinds of firecrackers in the capital as part of an action plan to reduce pollution levels in winter, Environment Minister Gopal Rai said on Monday.
The death figures are likely to increase further, said local police sources, as the condition of some of those injured was critical.

বাজি ব্যবসার সঙ্গে যুক্তেরা জানাচ্ছেন, বাজি ব্যবসায়ী সংগঠনগুলির মধ্যে এমন বিবাদ নতুন নয়। তবে গত এক বছরে এগরা, বজবজের মতো একাধিক জায়গায় বিস্ফোরণে মৃত্যুর ঘটনার পরে সেই লড়াই আরও বেড়েছে।
যদিও এই প্রশাসনিক নজরদারির অভাব নিয়েই প্রশ্ন উঠেছে এগরা, বজবজ, মহেশতলায় পর পর বিস্ফোরণে। একাধিক জনের মৃত্যুর পরে সরকারের তরফে বাজি ক্লাস্টার তৈরির কথা ঘোষণা করা হয়।
