A Boko Haram Improvised Explosive Device (IED) expert alongside one other terrorist, have surrendered to troops of Sector 3 of the Multinational Joint Task

Two suspected bombers of the Boko Haram group surrendered themselves to troops of Sector 3 Multi-National Joint Task Force in Monguno, Borno State On Sunday.

    Two Terrorists said to be Boko Haram bomb experts surrendered to the Nigerian Army on Sunday. A counter-insurgency expert and security analyst, Zagazola Makama in a post on X on Monday, said the terrorists identified as Abubakar Mohammed (alias Garba), 19  and Bana Modu, 13 surrendered to the Sector 3 of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Monguno, Borno State. Zagazola, who shared pictures of the suspects, said the arrest marked a notable success in the ongoing campaign to dismantle Boko Haram's operations in the region.

Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, the Chief Military Public Information of MNJTF, Ndjamena, signed a press release revealing this on Monday.
