Plans for Domino's Pizza on Mill Lane, Sutton Leach refused

PLANS to turn a former convenience store into a Domino's pizza takeaway within a 400-metre 'exclusion zone' of nearby schools have been refused as it would conflict with the council's bid to "reduce childhood obesity".
Proposals to change the use of the former Sherdley News & Booze on Mill Lane, Sutton Leach, into a takeaway on the ground floor and a three-bedroom residential flat on the first floor were sent to the local authority.
Plans stated the ground floor would include a customer area at the front, a limited amount of seating; kitchen, office and wash up area towards the centre and staff welfare and storage areas towards the back with a refuse store at the rear of the takeaway.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 8 — Whenever I get a break, I like to wander down Jalan Alor to an old favourite of mine. In the morning, that street famous for its night eats is quiet.
I've been eating at Sister Drunken Chicken Noodle for many years. The stall was started by two sisters. They were colourful characters who would serenade customers with songs from Chinese opera as they worked. Previously they offered a variety of noodles and porridge.

Mumbai:
Food takeaway or parcels and home delivery won't be allowed after 11 pm in view of the
night curfew in place in the state, said
BMC additional municipal commissioner (health) Suresh Kakani.
His statement came after restaurants and hotels in the city urged the municipal corporation to allow them to keep their kitchen open till 1.30 am so that they can deliver food to people bringing in the new year at home.
"With no relaxation in the night curfew guidelines, we have no choice but to abide by it," said AHAR president Shivanand Shetty, "We had requested the government to allow restaurants and bars to have their kitchens open till 1.30 am for takeaways," he added.
