Covid-19: Overnight, Pandemics Throws Up Record 3733 cases, 44 Deaths


SRINAGAR: The ferocious Covid-19 disease has killed another 44 people in the last 24 hours taking the overall death toll in Jammu and Kashmir to 2421, officials’ sources said. The number of deaths and new infections is slightly more than yesterday.
As many as 28 deaths took place in Jammu and 16 in Kashmir divisions, the information revealed by the government said.
Jammu town continues to top the list of the dead for yet another consecutive day. It lost 17 citizens in the last 24 hours. Srinagar, the other capital city lost seven residents, the same number as it lost yesterday.
The district-wise details suggest that Kashmir lost two residents each in Baramulla, Budgam, Kupwara and Kulgam, and one in Ganderbal.

JK Reports 1526 New COVID-19 Cases, Six Deaths


SRINAGAR: The Government on Sunday informed that 1526 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19),547from Jammu division and 979from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 146692.Also, 06 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 03 from Jammu Division and 03 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 963 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 541 from Jammu Division and 422 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 146692 positive cases, 11467 are Active Positive, 133168 have recovered and 2057have died; 764 in Jammu division and 1293 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 6760101test results available, 6613409 samples have been tested as negative till April 18, 2021.

SRINAGAR: The Government on Saturday informed that 1145 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19),503 from the Jammu division and 642 from the Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 145166. Also, 03 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 02 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 852 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 373 from Jammu Division and 479 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 145166 positive cases, 10910 are Active Positive, 132205 have recovered and 2051have died; 761 in Jammu division and 1290 in Kashmir division.

SRINAGAR: The Government on Friday informed that 1144 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19),414 from Jammu division and 730 from the Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 144021. Also, 02 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 01 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 562 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 161 from Jammu Division and 401 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 144021 positive cases, 10620 are Active Positive, 131353 have recovered and 2048 have died; 759 in Jammu division and 1289 in Kashmir division.
