According to police, the alleged irregularities took place while the contracts for providing khichdi to migrants during the COVID-19 was awarded by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The agency claimed that work orders were issued by the BMC to two firms for supplying khichdi during the Covid-19 pandemic to migrant workers at a cost of Rs 33 per packet along with GST.

In its FIR, the Mumbai Police said Force One Multi Services, which sells sand and bricks and provides security services, doesn’t have the necessary license from the Department of Health and the Department of Food and Drug Administration, bagged the contract illegally.
