PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has allowed an application by former Sabah infrastructure development minister Datuk Peter Anthony to submit new evidence in his final appeal to set aside his conviction, prison sentence and fine for forgery.
Hyderabad police on Tuesday arrested the BRS leader Aravind Alishetty on allegations of cheating and forgery. Central Crime Station (CCS) officials arrested him from his residence in Hyderabad. As per reports, Alishetty has duped a company of Rs 5 crore by allegedly forging the signatures of important leaders of the previous BRS government.

Police team chased the vehicle and caught the two people; Wasim Altaf Pathan, 37 and Shahid Ayub Khan, 34, sitting inside it. When the police checked the car documents produced by them, it was revealed that the documents were bogus, said a police officer.
