Dentons - Franchisors in Australia – deadline of 14 November 2022 to register and upload to the new mandatory Franchise Disclosure Register
Recent changes to Australia’s mandatory law (the Franchising Code of Conduct) which regulates many forms of franchise and distribution agreements, introduce a new Franchise Disclosure Register. Franchisors have until 14 November 2022 to register as a franchisor and to provide a copy of their disclosure document to the public register.
