When you shoot a documentary you interview people for two and three hours. so to sit down and talk to him for three hours. to sit down with fred grey. those are really amazing -- i felt privileged to be able to sit in the same room and ask any question i wanted to for the next couple of hours. i think those are, in a lot of ways, some of the most meaningful. i have held on to the transcripts because i know those stories don't get told a lot. those folks are getting oler. >> why do i still have the transcripts from james brown? as you were talking we were showing and i want to talk to you about...
