Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. said a search warrant was served at his home by Atlantic County prosecutors last week was related to a "family matter" and did not involve corruption. He and his attorney declined to say whether the investigation is connected to the case against a high school principal who allegedly failed to report child abuse and was charged the same day as the raid at Small's home.
