Mayor Lori Lightfoot had an undeniably bad night Tuesday, as she was unceremoniously dumped by voters. Things were only marginally better for the four City Council members Lightfoot appointed over the last year.
At least 10 races for alderperson appear headed for runoffs in April — but uncounted mail-in ballots remain a wild card in many of the contests.
And three of those runoffs would involve incumbents appointed by Mayor Lori Lightfoot over the last year.
