Galesburg Council puts hold on City Manager's dismissal
Galesburg City Council took no action in regard to City Manager Gerald's Smith employment on Monday night. Council however did convene into executive session to discuss Smith's job performance. Council voted 6-0 with one abstention to remove the item from the agenda of a special meeting that was held prior to the regular meeting. Questions were raised about the legality of the special meeting.
