Whanganui people turned out in droves on Sunday to check out hundreds of classic cars for a good cause.
The Wanganui Road Rodders held their annual River City Park Up at Whanganui City College, with hundreds of people visiting to see the display.
Veteran, vintage and classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, drag cars and more were all on display, with an estimated 500 vehicles on show.

Kiwi set to 'race' again in Waverley if $200,000 can be raised

A bronze sculpture of Kiwi, the farm horse that stopped a nation, is planned to be installed in Waverley – but only if the community agree, and $200,000 can be fund raised to cover the cost.
Retired New Plymouth surgeon Fridtjof Hanson​ has almost completed the sculpture of the famous Melbourne Cup winner, with jockey Jimmy Cassidy, and is now making preparations to have it cast in bronze.
