Pixel 6 May Be Powered by Google's Own 'GS101' Whitechapel SoC: Report
Pixel 6 may be the first handset to be powered by Google’s in-house ‘GS101’ Whitechapel SoC, according to a new report. Whitechapel is said to be the codename of the work-in-progress chip expected in the upcoming handset, but Google may commercially call it something completely different. An internal Google document cited in the report suggests that the company is calling the chip ‘GS101’, where GS could be short for ‘Google Silicon’.
