Watertown airport not as busy as expected over Thanksgiving
The surge in Thanksgiving holiday travel at the nationâs largest airports apparently did not trickle down to Watertown Regional Airport. Airport Manager Todd Syhre told the Airport Board Monday that while ticket reservations looked good leading up to the holiday weekend, results fell short of what officials had expected.
