Asked if he had confidence in the chief executive, Grubb said he had "no comment" and then went on to say Taylor had resigned in the "last few days". In a text message, Martin Taylor said he had moved on to "new challenges" and wished the organisation well. This year the national council reportedly asked Taylor to refrain from making negative comments about farmers. It followed years of work by the national body advocating for clean waterways and against what it coined as "dirty dairying".
