As many as 12 companies' bids were qualified for incentives to set up production facilities of 5,49,500 tonnes of green hydrogen, against the offered capacity of 4,50,000 tonnes.
The bidding was on the least incentive demanded over three years through a competitive selection process by the Solar Energy Corporation of India. The financial bids were opened on Tuesday.

A total of 34 companies have submitted bids for projects to be developed under the Government of India’s Green Hydrogen Mission.
