Pella Schools Going Virtual March 11th After Completing Vaccinations

The financial state of the Pella School District remains fairly strong, despite the additional expenses of COVID-19. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says federal funding, as well as a likely state aid increase of more than 2 percent, should help the school board plan for the next fiscal year, even though enrollment was down this past fall and with the additional expenses due to the virus. Pella School District Receives First Doses of Vaccine

At their meeting this week, the Pella School Board received an update about COVID-19 funding and vaccination plans for the district. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the district is expecting $405,463 in federal dollars from the Coronavirus relief bill passed in December, which can be used for a variety of needs, mainly tied to response and mitigation efforts needed for the virus.
