Decapitated, Gutted Animals Found in Texas Linked to 'Satanic Ritual'—Officials

Decapitated, Gutted Animals Found in Texas Linked to 'Satanic Ritual'—Officials
On 5/11/21 at 6:44 AM EDT
Authorities believe the discovery of 15 animal carcasses dumped near a road in El Paso, Texas, on Monday may have been linked to "satanic" worship.
A resident found decapitated and gutted sheep and goats near the Dyer Street and Railroad Drive intersection in the northeast of the city.
"It did not look like the portions for eating were removed from the goats. The bodies seem intact," Capt. Ray Spears, a game warden with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department told KVIA.com. "Satanic rituals, blood removal, possibly. Not a common occurrence to see that many goats dumped like that."

ROME, Ga. (AP) - An Alabama man is free on bond after his arrest for his alleged involvement in the killing of a farm animal during what authorities said was a “ritual sacrifice” during training in Georgia for a white supremacist group, authorities said.
Brandon Gregory Ashley, 27, of Hayden, Alabama, was extradited Thursday to Rome, Georgia, from the Jefferson County Jail in Birmingham, Alabama, and subsequently released on a $10,000 bond from the Floyd County Jail, The Rome News-Tribune reported.
Ashley, Patrik Mathews, William Garfield Bilbrough IV, Brian Mark Lemley Jr., and Duncan Christopher Trimmell were charged last month with aggravated animal cruelty and all but Trimmell were also charged with livestock theft by a Floyd County grand jury, according to an indictment first reported by the Rome News-Tribune. It was not immediately clear whether any of them had a lawyer who could comment on the charges.

Alabama Man Indicted In Ram Beheading During White Supremacist Training | 97.5 KMOD

An Alabama man is facing an aggravated animal cruelty and theft charge in Georgia after being accused of beheading a ram during a white supremacy training camp in 2019. Brandon Gregory Ashley is one of five people charged last week in the event that allegedly occurred in Silver Creek for hate group The Base. The Rome News-Tribune reports The Base is an online group of "hard-core neo-Nazis." During a training session, this group allegedly stole a ram from a farm and attempted to kill it with a knife. When that didn't work, they allegedly shot the ram and beheaded the animal as part of a "pagan ritual sacrifice."
