Sheba attacked a 39-year-old man and killed his dog and a pig at the weekend. On Tuesday night, the tiger killed another dog.

A tiger which escaped from a farm and roamed the countryside outside of Johannesburg for four days, attacking a man and killing several animals, was euthanised on Wednesday.

The SPCA reiterated its opposition to keeping and breeding wild and exotic animals as pets after Sheba the tiger was euthanised.
