55 past the hour. there's a growing push to get congress to move on a measure called the afghanistan adjustment act. right now thousands of people who were evacuated to the u.s. during that pullout from afghanistan last year are in limbo. no long-term permission to stay here. this bill would change that and give evacuees a path forward to permanent residency and a lot of other things. but its future in congress is uncertain. with us now to talk about this is matt zeller. he's a former cia analyst and army captain who served in afghanistan. it's great to see you in person. what's at stake here?...
