Vadodara: An under-trial prisoner escaped from police custody on Monday afternoon when he was under treatment at the mental hospital in Karelibaug.
Vadodara: Migratory pigeon that flew into a private company on Halol Road on Tuesday caused a serious flutter in the police department after the bird was found with a ring on its leg, with a micro device and some words in Chinese language engraved on it. “The homer pigeon was found in a pot full of water in a private company on the Halol Road on Tuesday. The staff called up forest officials who later contacted the police department after they noticed a ring and a small device on the pigeon’s leg,” said Raj Bhavsar of Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA).
