The only person charged in connection with the July 2020 shooting death of a 56-year-old Hampton woman was acquitted of murder and two firearms offenses Wednesday afternoon, state judicial records show.
The man was taken to a local hospital, and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation and police said there is no suspect information at this time.
