The Reasons for buying In the pre-pandemic days, I owned a XUV500 as a daily driver and had a heavy daily usage of 100-150kms. The overall driving experience was good, but the only concern was the huge running costs. Mileage of 11-12 kmpl meant that there was atleast 20k being spent on fuel expenses. Factor in the service costs that are on the higher side, and the costs were becoming a slight concern.
