Spanish researchers produce new biodiesel from low quality animal fats and soy oil : Biofuels Digest
The results obtained suggest that from these raw materials an acceptable biodiesel is produced, according to the standards, and with a lower final cost. The animal fats used are cheaper and constitute a fatty residue without any other use, which means that their transformation into biodiesel has environmental benefits and reduces dependence on other conventional agricultural raw materials.
