A vodka-fuelled rapist who subjected a child to 'grave' sexual abuse and four people who hunted down a doting dad and murdered him were just some of the criminals locked up in the region in April.
Greater Manchester courts gave out hefty prison sentences for all manner of crimes last month.
Other offenders put behind bars include a road rage thug who left a man for dead and a paedophile who asked his victim's mum not to tell police he sexually assaulted her child.

A drug dealing gang caught by police after the death of a 17-year-old girl at Leeds Festival have been jailed.
Luke Jones, 18, Joshua Yarwood, 20, and Sol Pegler, 21, all from Oldham, were convicted of a string of charges following an investigation by West Yorkshire Police.
It was prompted by the tragic death of teenager Anya Buckley, also from Oldham, from a suspected drugs overdose on August 24 2019 while attending the music festival.
